Account and Data Deletion in the Stitchy App

This page describes how to delete your account and the data associated with it in the Stitchy mobile app, as well as which data is deleted in the process, which data may be retained, and for how long. The developer of the App and the data operator is Alexander Sergeevich Seednov. Data processing is described in detail in the Privacy Policy: https://stitchy.alexforge.org/en/legal/privacy/

1. How to Delete Your Account in the App

1. Open the Stitchy app.

2. Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.

3. Tap "Delete account" and confirm the action.

Deletion is performed immediately and is irreversible. Together with the Account, both the data on the device and its copy on the server are erased.

2. How to Request Deletion Without Access to the App

If the App has already been removed from the device or you no longer have access to it, send a deletion request to stitchy@alexforge.org from the email address used to sign in to your account. The request is processed within 30 days at most; you will receive a reply with the result.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When the Account is deleted, the following data is permanently deleted:

your email address;
your profile name and picture, if you provided them;
your works: patterns, stitching progress, statistics, achievements and settings — both on the server and on the device.

4. What Data May Be Retained and for How Long

Server logs (IP address and technical details of requests) — kept for no more than 90 days for security and diagnostics, after which they are deleted.
Individual records — only if their retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes; once the applicable period expires, they are deleted or anonymized.
Anonymized usage statistics (Yandex AppMetrica) — not linked to the User's identity and cannot be used to establish it; stored in accordance with the terms of the service.

5. Deleting Data Without Deleting the Account

Data on the device: Profile → Settings → "Delete data" — works, patterns, progress, statistics and settings are permanently erased from the device.
An individual work can be deleted from the list of works at any time.
Removing the App from the device erases all of its local storage.

An Account is not required: without signing in, the App is fully functional, and all data remains only on the device.
